grandMA2

The grandMA2 is the preferred method of connecting to the grandMA2 series of lighting consoles. To display information from a grandMA2 Connection, use a grandMA2 Widget.

This connection uses MIDI Show Control to overlay information from the grandMA2.

Status

The detected status of the connection. The two options are:

• Connected (Green)

• Disconnected (Red)

Name

The name of the connection

Method

The way of connecting to the grandMA2 console. Options are:

• Network (UDP)

• MIDI Connection

• MIDI Destination

Network (UDP)

Port

The port to listen on for incoming networked MSC data. Only available when Network (UDP) is selected as the Method.

The MIDI Device to listen to for incoming MSC data. Only available when MIDI Connection is selected as the Method.

Vor creates a MIDI Device when can be targeted as the device by other softwares

Actions

OSC Messages ingested by the grandMA2 Connection are passed to the MIDI Actions handler so that no further port configuration is necessary to control Vor.

Device ID

The MIDI Device ID number of the transmitting device to listen to.
